Detailed Design of Container Terminal – II at Mundra port

Client:L&T – ECC Division, Chennai
Project Year:2005

Gujarat Adani Port Ltd. appointed L&T-ECC for construction of dry bulk terminal at Mundra. L&T-ECC had entrusted L&T-RAMBOLL as consultant for detailed design.
The berth length of 618m & width of 48.5m is to be constructed as an extension of existing container berth 632m long matching with the existing berthing line. The berth is tied back to anchor walls with tie rods.
The berth is designed to cater Post Panamax vessel with draft 18.5m and also to have flexibility to be used as container terminal.
