Pre-feasibility Study on Developing Multi-Modal Transport Hubs at Thiruvananthapuram, Kochi & Kozhikode

Government of Kerala has initiated a pre-feasibility study for Development of Multi-Modal hubs at Thiruvananthapuram, Kochi and Kozhikode cities in Kerala.

The main objective of the study is to examine the feasibility of establishing transport hubs to integrate the urban multi-modal transportation network to distribute traffic effectively in order improve the traffic safety and time savings with inclusive traffic planning of all modes of transportation by promoting the efficiency, fluency and service level of public transport. The study also promotes the use of various public modes of transport to discourage the vehicular traffic on congested roads
