A Viaduct is proposed connecting Western Express Highway (WEH) to Chatrapathi Shivaji International Airport (CSIA) to provide congestion free uninterrupted flow of traffic. L&T ECC is the client / contractor for this project.

L&T Infra Engineering is the Detailed Design Consultant of the Contractor for the Design and Build Contract.

The viaduct is designed for Six lane traffic with a clear carriageway width of 22.5m and crash barrier and planter box on either side for a width of 2.6m. The overall deck with is 27.6m. The total length of the flyover is 1km with a typical span of 35m.

The type of superstructure adopted is Box Girder Spine Beam of 9m wide with Cantilever Wings on both sides for a length of 9m. The superstructure is a three span continuous structural arrangement with deck continuity. The superstructure is resting on a single pier. The superstructure is constructed by Segmental Construction Methodology in stages.

The Approaches to the viaduct is of Reinforced Earth retaining structure.
